Career History

Ellen Faulk has been on the faculty at Phillips since 1992 as adjunct, part-time faculty and core faculty. She previously served as the Vice President of Institutional Advancement for Phillips Graduate University, assisting in fundraising, alumni relations, grant writing, and supporting the institution in multiple endeavors. Prior to that, Ellen worked as an Exercise Physiologist in Sports Medicine and in the development of wellness programs in hospital-based settings.

Practice/Areas of Focus

Ellen focuses on trauma related issues including survivors of physical and sexual abuse and natural disasters. She has worked with the FBI and public safety personnel (police and firefighters) and developed programs to prevent Posttraumatic Stress Disorder for the Los Angeles Police Department. Ellen also provides psychotherapy for those with serious medical illness.
